Recommended Proper Patching Technique

Step 1: Cut A Piece of “Patch” Vinyl
Cut a circular disk out of a similarly-colored piece of vinyl that is just a little larger than the hole that you want to patch.


Step 2: Apply Adhesive to Vinyl
Apply an even coat of adhesive to both surfaces: to the side of the vinyl patch that will be adhered to the inflatable, and to the area around the hole. NOTE: Adhesive area around the hole should be about the same size as the vinyl disk you’d cut. Allow adhesive to dry (2-5 minutes) before proceeding to Step 3.

Step 3: Apply Vinyl Patch to Hole
Apply vinyl patch that you created over hole.


Step 4: Smooth Flat
Smooth the patch flat with your fingers, taking care to smooth out air bubbles. Patched area is ready to use after 24 hours. 


NOTES ABOUT ADHESIVE:
Materials may need cleaning or roughing up before adherring. Apply an even coat to both surfaces to be joined and let dry. Press together. Adhesive strength increases with age as it sets. Keep container tightly closed when not in use.

Call a physician. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. If irritation persists, get medical attention. Keep out of reach of children.
